Pain points resolved in prototype
- Finding the recipes section isn't easy
- Too many categories Who wants 'Perfect Pancakes' category?
- Lack of appropriate search filters
- The servings and portion sizes can change based of how many people you want to cook for
- Wants to know how many options there are
- Wants to just see chicken options
- Doesn't have some of the ingredients
- Have to scroll up to see portion sizes when following recipe
- Tracking - UI could be simplified - will not focus on the tracking element in this case study
- Saving the dish - UI isn't helpful in recognising dishes I have saved
Changes made - based on research
- The menu bar is now supported with text so the user can see what sections are available
- Recipes has been moved to tier 1 in content hierarchy
- Homepage has been removed to simplify the user journey
