Pain points resolved in prototype

• Finding the recipes section isn't easy
• Too many categories Who wants 'Perfect Pancakes' category?
• Lack of appropriate search filters
• The servings and portion sizes can change based of how many people you want to cook for
• Wants to know how many options there are
• Wants to just see chicken options
• Doesn't have some of the ingredients
• Have to scroll up to see portion sizes when following recipe
• Tracking - UI could be simplified - will not focus on the tracking element in this case study
• Saving the dish - UI isn't helpful in recognising dishes I have saved

Changes made - based on research

• The menu bar is now supported with text so the user can see what sections are available
• Recipes has been moved to tier 1 in content hierarchy
• Homepage has been removed to simplify the user journey
